Our commitment to the communities where we operate goes beyond business. We actively engage in initiatives that create lasting positive impact.

Charity Football

We organize the annual "Macrolink Cup" charity football match in the Mwekera area, bringing the community together through sports.

Sports have the power to unite communities and inspire youth. Our annual charity football tournament not only promotes physical activity but also raises funds for local community projects.

Environmental Conservation

As a major sponsor of Copperbelt tree planting events, we're committed to environmental sustainability and conservation efforts.

Environmental stewardship is a core value at MACROLINK RESOURCES. We actively participate in and sponsor reforestation initiatives to offset our environmental footprint and contribute to a greener Zambia.

As a representative enterprise in the Copperbelt Province that is passionate about public welfare, Macrolink was invited to participate in the Zambia Independence Day celebration.

Educational Support

Following the implementation of the free education policy by the government, we donated 200 school uniforms for 100 boys and 100 girls at Mitenge community school in the Mwekera area.

Education is the foundation of sustainable development. By supporting local schools with uniforms and supplies, we help remove barriers to education and empower the next generation of Zambians.

Healthcare Initiatives

We partnered with the Ministry of Health in the construction of a foundation base to overcome flooding challenges at the border health post.

The 5x4m structure is being used for screening people at the border facility, improving healthcare access and public health monitoring in this critical area.

Supporting Public Health

Polio Vaccination Campaign

Polio is a dangerous and infectious disease that can cause life-long paralysis and may lead to death. There is no cure for polio. Vaccination is the only way to protect children.

The Ministry of Health conducted a targeted Polio Vaccination campaign from February 16 to 19, 2023, in Copperbelt, Northwestern, Central, and Luapula Provinces.

Macrolink is committed to safeguarding children's well-being as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) mission. We actively supported this vaccination campaign to help protect the health of children in our communities.

Sakania Road Safety Council

The Ndola-Mufulira Road is highly damaged and needs emergency works and rehabilitation before the Zambian Government finally constructs a new road. Therefore, stakeholders have come together to put up some temporal measures to enable the smooth flow of traffic.

As a responsible corporate citizen, Macrolink has actively participated in this initiative, contributing resources and expertise to improve road safety and infrastructure in the region.

Engagement with Religious Communities

Religion contributes to strong communities in three fundamental ways. First, religion provides spiritual, social, psychological, and often material support for individuals and families. Since religion deals in "ultimate" matters, it helps people make sense of their lives, as well as their role in their families and in their communities.

Therefore, Macrolink Resources appreciates the role of religion in the community and is supporting the religious community as it is the foundation of a strong and successful community.

We regularly engage with local religious leaders and organizations to understand community needs and collaborate on initiatives that benefit the broader community.
